The video circulating on social media showing David Coat making vulgar comments about Klopp and Liverpool has caused an uproar, with fans of the Reds highlighting three matches where the referee in question blatantly wronged their team.
Liverpool celebrated in 2019 winning the Champions League, in 2020 they broke the curse of 30 years away from the Premier League title and in 2022 they triumphed twice at “Wembley” in the space of a few months, beating Chelsea both in the FA final Cup as well as in that of the League Cup, however just before it leaves in 2024 a referee comes to challenge rage in her world.
This is England referee David Coat as a video circulating on social media of him swearing at Liverpool and their former manager Jurgen Klopp, with fans of the Merseyside club flooding social media and calling for the Referees’ Association to take action case and to proceed with his punishment.
According to several Reds friends, the referee in question even stripped their team of major titles with their decisions, due to his bad opinion of the club and Jurgen Klopp, with three matches he officiated being particularly memorable .

November 9, 2024: Coate was the referee in Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday and raised questions about his move to show “no foul” when the last Villa defender brought down Salah as he came on alone against Martinez. Fortunately for the Reds, Nunez, who was following the phase as a trailer, took the ball and scored from a sideline position, with Coate’s move earlier meaning that he would not give a foul and a red if the Uruguayan missed.
