A month before the premiere of the new mini-series about the life of the Brazilian triple champion of Formula 1, Ayrton Senna, the Netflix platform has published the second trailer of the six-episode series.
The dramatized representation of the life of the great Paulista, who disappeared on May Day 1994 at the Imola circuit in Italy, will premiere on November 29 on the Netflix platform.
The series has the “blessings” of the Senna family, as well as the talented Brazilian actor Gabriel Leone who plays Ayrton. Some time ago Netflix released the first trailer, and now the second followed – exactly one month before the premiere.
This second trailer features clips from countless aspects of Senna’s life: his karting days, his words to his father Milton that “I know I can be champion”, his amazing 1984 Monaco GP with Toleman, the his victories with Lotus and McLaren, and the tragic end with Williams.
We also see clips of his stormy rivalry with Alain Prost, the moment Ayrton was introduced to Niki Lauda, as well as his relationship with Adriana Galisteau in the final months of his life. Also passing through the screen are his first wife Lillian, father Milton and mother Naide, as well as his sister Vivian.
According to Netflix, the series “Senna” will “depicts for the first time his journey as he overcomes all obstacles, joys and sorrows of Ayrton, discovering his personality and personal relationships.
The series will consist of six exciting episodes, starting from the beginning of his career in England, where he competed in Formula Ford, and will cover various moments in his life up to the tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the Grand Prix of San Marino”.
Producer Guyan Entertainment said that the series “it will be a deep dive into the life and career of one of the biggest icons of Brazilian and world sports”. Watch the second trailer for the series below:
