Skamaka returned to the field just three months after suffering a torn cruciate ligament

Gianluca Scamakka suffered a torn cruciate ligament in August, with estimates at the time suggesting the Atalanta striker would be out for at least six months.

But he set out to break every record and it seems that he is close to his return to the courts.

The Bergamaskis posted a picture of Skamakas from training, just three months after his serious injury.

It now remains to be seen whether the Italian international is indeed that far ahead in his recovery and can return to action before the New Year, when he was expected to return to action.
