In agreement with Selen Erdem from Turkey, PAS Ioannina came to take over the technical leadership of the women’s basketball team.
Turkala Selen Erdem will be the new coach of PAS Ioannina women’s basketball team. Erdem has previously worked as an assistant for the Turkish National Team with stints at the Olympics, World Cup and European Championships, most recently with Antalya.

The Management Committee of the Basketball Department of PAS Ioannina is pleased to announce the start of the collaboration with the Turkish coach Selen Erdem.
Ms. Erdem has previously worked as an assistant coach for the Turkish National Team, taking part in the Rio Olympics, as well as a world cup and two pan-European championships, from 2014 to 2019.
The well-known coach in European basketball takes over the reins of our team, coming from Antalya, Turkey and with many performances in the Women’s Turkish League, one of the top European Championships in Women’s Basketball.
In the next few days, Selen Erdem is expected to be in Ioannina, and she will immediately start working with the players of our team, so that PAS WBC will continue to be a competitive team with specific goals this season as well.
