North Macedonia finished the group games undefeated, finishing comfortably in first place, while Armenia beat Latvia 2-1 and got the ticket for the promotion playoffs.

North Macedonia once again confirmed their momentum in Nations League Group Four Leage C, beating the Faroe Islands 1-0 while maintaining their unbeaten run.

On the other hand, Armenia eventually defeated Latvia 2-1, sending them to the bottom of the standings, while they booked their ticket to the promotion playoffs.

North Macedonia had the initiative of moves during the game. Of course, despite the fact that she kept the ball at her feet for a long time, she did not manage to find a goal.

This happened in the second half when Bojan Miovski opened the scoring in the 62nd minute. The Faroe Islands could not find an answer and thus the 2nd place in the group was lost to Armenia.

As for the other game at 16:00, Latvia fought back but ultimately could not avoid defeat, finishing bottom of the group. Armenia may have equalized in the 70th minute of the match with a goal by Athens Kallithea’s Roberts Uldrikis, but the answer was immediate.

Four minutes later Artur Miranian gave the visitors the lead again and at the same time the second place.

  • Latvia – Armenia: 1-2 (48′ Spercian – 70′ Uldrikis – 74′ Miranian)
  • North Macedonia – Faroe Islands: 1-0 (62′ Miovski)
