Just two days after the divorce with Staikos Vergetis, Asteras Tripoli AKTOR announced the replacement of the Greek coach on the bench of the B team.
The reason for the former coach of Ethniki Elpidon, George Simoswhile his partners will be Anastasios Pritsas (assistant-analyst) and Konstantinos Nomikos (fitness trainer).
In the past, Simos has been through the academies of AEK and Panathinaikos, while as head coach he has also worked at OFI, Athens Kallithea and Ionikos.

“ASTERAS AKTOR announces the cooperation with Mr. Giorgos Simos, who takes over as coach of the B’ Team of the club. Mr. Simos was born on March 29, 1978 and holds a UEFA Pro diploma. The new coach of ASTERAS B’ AKTOR was coach of the Hellenic National Team, he has worked at the AEK and Panathinaikos Academies, was assistant coach at Omonia in Cyprus, while he has been coach of OFI, Kallithea and Ionikos.
He takes over the technical leadership of the 2nd Team of our club with the assistant-analyst, Mr. Anastasios Pritsa and the fitness coach, Mr. Konstantinos Nomiko.
