The management of Genoa has decided to remove Alberto Gilardino from the technical leadership after two years of cooperation, with the Rossoblu choosing as his successor Patrick Vieira.
Alberto Gilardino has been out of the Genoa bench since Tuesday afternoon (19/11), with the Italian technician facing the exit door from “Marasi” quite suddenly, if one considers not only his two-year presence at the helm of the group but also the harvest of the four points in the last two league matches (with Parma and Como) that had brought the Rossoblu to +1 from the relegation line.
