The Olympiakos delegation left for Belgrade, where they will face Maccabi (14/11, 20:00, Novasports 4, Match Center from SPORT24) in the context of the 10th EuroLeague game. Alec Peters spoke about the upcoming match, stressing that the red and whites will have to show a better face compared to the one they showed against Villeurbanne.

“Obviously our performance yesterday wasn’t the best but the nice thing about this league is that things like this can happen, you don’t perform well but you get the win. Now we focus on the next game. I don’t think any of us today, looking at his performance yesterday, he is proud of how he played. We have a lot of things to improve. We showed – before the ASVEL game – that we are building something very special and now we have to get back to it.

Our defensive approach needs to be much better. Maccabi create a game from the perimeter, they fight with many guards, they are constantly moving, they are supernatural, strong, as well as their tall… So defensively, if our approach is like yesterday then data will not be a good day for us, we will let’s keep struggling. I hope this change comes and we will be ready to face them.
