Vassilis Spanoulis is a candidate for the technical leadership of Monaco, according to MARCA.
Monaco are looking for a successor to Saša Obradović in the technical leadership, after the end of their partnership with the 55-year-old Serbian coach.
According to MARCA, the Monegasques are considering the case of both Vassilis Spanoulis and Sergio Scariolo to take over the team’s bench.
The ultimate goal for Monaco is the competitive recovery, after the sluggish starts in the EuroLeague (6-4) and the French championship (6-3), as the club management claims. Vassilis Spanoulis is the national coach of the Greek national team and does not coach any club after leaving Peristeri, while Sergio Scariolo is the selector of the Spanish national team.
