Under the heavy threat of rain, today’s qualifying tests at Interlago will decide the pole position holder and starting order for tomorrow’s 21st Formula 1 GP of the year. Where can you watch tonight’s racing action, and what times.

The third consecutive race in the Americas – after Texas and Mexico – takes place this three days (November 1-3) in Interlagos, at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

In this year’s 5th three-day race with a Sprint race, qualifying tests will follow the Sprint race won by Lando Norris and will be held tonight at 20:00 Greek time (with live broadcast from ANT1+ and LIVE Blog of SPORT24).

Classically, ranking tests consist of three periods (Q1-Q2-Q3) lasting 18-15-12 minutes respectively. In the first two, the five slowest drivers will be eliminated respectively, so that in Q3 the final ten will emerge for the battle for pole position.

It is worth noting that a few hours before the start of qualifying, seeing the forecasts of the meteorological service, the FIA changed the possibility of rain in tonight’s qualifying tests to the worst, to 60%. In particular, intense storms are already occurring in the outskirts of São Paulo and the direction of the wind is directing the clouds towards the Interlago circuit.

At the same time, the temperature will drop significantly, and for the asphalt it is expected to drop from 48° to 38° Celsius, which will have significant implications for the heating of the tires for each individual qualifying round.
