The Scuderia, according to the Italian press, made the decision to wait until the next Formula 1 race to decide whether to turn its full attention to the new season’s car. The Scuderia will introduce the latest SF-24 upgrade at the next GP in Austin, Texas (October 18-20), which although relatively limited could make a significant contribution to the cavallino’s performance.
Then, as it is reported – according to the Italian press – to have been decided in Maranello these days, the Scuderia will determine its points harvest in Texas and a week later in Mexico, and make its decisions.
If this crop can realistically keep her in contention for the constructors’ title, then she will stick to the SF-24’s evolution. If not, then Maranello will throw a “white flag” for this year’s title and will turn its attention exclusively to the design and development of the 2025 car.
