According to Spanish reports, the Basque country’s court has dismissed Baskonia’s appeal asking Luca Vildosa to pay her another million euros – on top of the one million already awarded – for his transfer to Red Star in the 2022/23 season.

Baskonia will have to settle for one million euros in compensation from Luka Vildosa for his transfer to Red Star in the middle of the 2022/23 season, not two million.

This is what the court of the Basque Country decided, as Marca reports in its publicationaccording to which Baskonia’s appeal was rejected, with which she asked to be paid two million euros and not one million euros, as she had been awarded last January.

It is recalled that the Basques had filed a lawsuit against the Argentine for breach of contract, because after his return from the NBA, Vildoza he signed a contract with Red Star, claiming that his rights belonged to them.

Last January – when the Argentinian now belonged to Panathinaikos AKTOR – the first degree of justice came for the Basques, after the court decided to pay Vildosa 1 million euros as a buy out. Baskonia filed an appeal, however, asking for 2 million euros as compensation, i.e. the entire buy out. However, this appeal was rejected, with the amount that the Olympiakos guard will have to pay remaining at 1 million euros.
