Verbal agreement with Guardiola for one-year contract extension

It seems that the series of Pep Guardiola’s stay at Manchester City will finally have a positive outcome.

According to Football Insider, the Catalan coach has joined hands with the “citizens” to extend his contract until the year 2025-26.

It is recalled that some time ago it was revealed that the Brazilian Football Federation had contacted Guardiola several times this season to convince him to leave the Premier League team for the position of Seleção’s national coach.

That plan appears to be temporarily shelved, as it is now claimed that all that remains is the announcement of the deal by the English club, which is expected to happen soon.
