Bad news for the Warriors, as De’Antoni Melton is dealing with a left knee injury and will be sidelined indefinitely.
The Warriors will have to go without DeAntoni Melton for an unknown period of time. The 26-year-old guard suffered a left knee injury – feared to have affected his ACL – and will be out indefinitely as he undergoes further tests.
Melton had gradually worked his way into the starting five, with Steve Kerr banking on his defensive consistency to find balance, but now he will have to change plans.
This season, Melton is averaging 10.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals, shooting 37.1% from three in 20 minutes.
