‘There were some strange decisions in the Villeurbanne match, united around the team and Sfeiropoulos’

Red Star were comprehensively beaten in France by Villeurbanne and the Red Star president spoke to Serbian Media.

“Pride is the first thing I feel when I see the team and the fans in the stands. The boys showed how they fight for Red Star. The match against Monaco was great and confirmed our quality. I enjoyed watching them.

There were certainly some strange decisions with Villeurbanne. Nothing new. But everyone should understand one thing. The Red Star may win or lose, but it will never be completely defeated. You all know what I mean. No one can take away the pride and feeling we have for the color red and white.

Now we must be stronger than ever, stand united behind our team and coach Sfeiropoulos. I invite the fans to come to the next games, as many as possible and show the pride for our city”.
