Swindon Town manager Ian Holloway has claimed his side’s poor run of form may be down to the fact that their training ground is haunted.
Swindon Town are without a win in England’s League Two for five games, sitting 22nd in the table and their manager has found an explanation for that.
So Ian Holloway, in his statements on BBC Radio Wiltshire, argued that Swindon’s poor performance may be due to the fact that its training center is haunted.
The 61-year-old stressed that “strange things” have happened following the injury to team captain Ollie Clarke, who suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in training last week.
THE Ian Holloway he added that he will ask his wife to “cleanse the area” using sage, as the area is near an ancient cemetery.
What he said in detail:
“I’m really devastated, so I’m going to try to clear the training center area, because I’m told it’s haunted. There’s a cemetery somewhere nearby. Seriously, I’m not kidding.
I believe our training center is very close to an ancient cemetery, so I will ask my wife to come and apologize to these people and hopefully we will have a little more luck.”
