ROMA
Turkey’s football federation has denied reports of Roma’s contact with Vincenzo Modela.
In the last 24 hours, several publications have said that Roma have contacted Vincenzo Modela in order for the current coach of the Turkish national team to replace Ivan Juric.
Nevertheless, the Football Federation of Turkey took a position, wanting to put an end to the rumors and argued that what has been said is unfounded.
In detail, a member of the federation made statements in order to clarify the situation, claiming that the 50-year-old technician will lead the representative group in the upcoming World Cup.
“No contact has occurred. We have a contract with Modela until the end of the 2026 World Cup. He is very happy here and 100% focused.
There is nothing more natural than having the names of successful managers linked to some big clubs, but they will be with us until the end of the 2026 World Cup.”
Regardless of whether the name of the former Milan coach is seemingly not a viable option for the Romans, the faces playing for the bench of the Italian club are many, with Ten Hach’s name being the one that stands out.
