Manchester City have reached an agreement with Pep Guardiola for a new contract until the summer of 2026. If the Citizens are found guilty and punished by relegation from the Premier League, their agreement is not expected to be broken.

Pep Guardiola has joined hands with Manchester City for a new contract with the citizens, extending their cooperation by one year, i.e. until the summer of 2026, while an extension option for another year has been foreseen.

THE Guardian says in a publication that the agreement between the two sides does not include a clause that breaks their agreement if the Citizens are found guilty in the Premier League’s investigation into the violations and punished by relegation.

He himself in the past when asked about whether he will leave the team in case of punishment, he replied that he will answer when he has the verdict.
