Ranieri arrived in Rome and was adored by 200 fans at the airport

After Daniele De Rossi and Ivan Juric, the reins of Roma are now in the hands of Claudio Ranieri.

The former coach of the Greek national team had announced last summer his retirement from the benches, but his love for the Giallorossi played a role in reversing his decision, with the 73-year-old coach shaking hands with Dan Friedkin (owner) and gets on the plane bound for Rome.

“Things are rough, I know, that’s why I was called. Get ready, the cavalry is coming,” he emphasized with statements shortly before leaving London to return to his homeland, with his arrival in the Italian capital a beautiful surprise in store for him.

As for what’s next, Thursday morning (14/11) will find him in Trigoria where he will sign a contract until the end of the season, while his first training will follow, in his third term at the club.
