The crucial meeting between Dan Friedkin and Claudio Ranieri resulted in an agreement with the former Greece coach to accept the offer made to him to take over at Roma, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

After Daniele De Rossi and Ivan Juric, Roma are now counting down to welcome their third manager in a row since the start of the season.

This will be an old acquaintance, Claudio Ranieri, returning to Trigoria for a second time, with the 73-year-old coach putting aside his announcement – at the end of last season – of retiring from the bench and shaking hands with the Jalorossi to guide them until June 30, 2025.

After a safari that the eternal city team made in the last 24 hours in search of the ideal for their bench, Ranieri, who has never hidden his feelings of love for the club, was also included in their list, with Dan Friedkin she has an appointment with him in London and from that the deal comes, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

As reported by the Italian media, on Thursday (14/11) he will have his first training and all that remains is the announcement of his recruitment, with Ranieri thus preparing for his third term at Wolves after two years from 2009- 2011 but also a brief stint on the bench in the spring of 2019 where he succeeded Eusebio Di Francesco to complete just the 2018-19 season.
