Martin Odegaard captained us for the 100th time against Fulham last Sunday, wearing the armband with pride throughout as many other iconic players have done down the years.
49 players have skippered us in Premier League matches since the division was formed in 1992 – some with reguarlity and others filling in for maybe just a game or two, but all would have been filled with pride at leading their team out for top-flight action.
