The NBA’s “Last 2 minute report” came out for the Bucks’ game against the Rockets and it was revealed that Giannis Antetokounmpo had stepped off the court after his block on Alperen Senggun, which led to Damian Lillard’s game-winning basket
The Bucks celebrated a narrow 101-100 victory over the Rockets yesterday (November 19th, Greek time), with Giannis Antetokounmpo making a terrible block on Alperen Senggun with the score at 99-100 and Damian Lillard scoring the winning basket . But as it turns out, that basket wasn’t supposed to count.
This was made known by the NBA by announcing the “Last 2 minute report”, which comes out after each match and highlights the right and wrong decisions of the referees in the games decided in the final. So as announced, Giannis stepped off the court when he received the ball after his block on Sengun – following a pass from Brook Lopez – meaning possession should have remained with the Rockets.
