Trouble at Barcelona with Chimezie Metu as the Nigerian tall will be out for 6-8 weeks.
Chimezie Metu was injured in Barcelona’s Liga Endesa matchday 8 clash with Valencia and the Catalans will be without him for a significant period of time as he suffered a grade 2 sprain to his left knee.
As reported by Barcelona, the player will be out for 6-8 weeks, which means he misses the game against Panathinaikos AKTOR at OAKA on December 3 (3/12, 21:15), while he is just barely able to catch the second round game in Barcelona on January 15 (21:30), based on the schedule set by the Blaugrana.
This season he is averaging 7.9 points and 4.4 rebounds in 10 games in the EuroLeague, averaging 18’48” of participation.
