Liverpool primed for January move for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as swap deal ‘interest’ Napoli

Liverpool are reportedly considering a January move for Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to strengthen their attacking lineup. The 23-year-old Georgian international has been impressive since joining Napoli in 2022, attracting interest from top European clubs.

Kvaratskhelia’s current contract with Napoli runs until 2027, and he is valued at around £67 million. If Liverpool proceed with the transfer, he would become one of the club’s most expensive signings, following Virgil van Dijk and Darwin Nunez.

However, Liverpool may face competition from Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, who are also monitoring Kvaratskhelia’s situation. Additionally, to accommodate the new signing, Liverpool might need to offload one of their current wide forwards, with Federico Chiesa mentioned as a potential makeweight in the deal.

Kvaratskhelia has been in fine form this season, contributing five goals and three assists in Serie A, helping Napoli challenge at the top of the league.
