The national coach of Croatia, Zlatko Dalic, praised Dominik Kotarski after his good performance against Scotland, with the PAOK goalkeeper optimistic about the presence of his country in the eight of the Nations League.
Dominik Kotarski made his debut for Croatia on Friday (15/11) and despite his side losing 1-0 to Scotland at Hampden Park, he managed to stand out.
After the match, Croatia’s national coach Zlatk Dalic praised the PAOK goalkeeper for his performance: “He was solid and showed his quality. He got the chance to play today because of his strong performances for his club and in the Europa League. He lived up to our expectations.”.
Kotarski himself appeared confident that Croatia will be able to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Nations League. “I think it was a strange match overall. We played well but the red card changed everything. However, everything is still in our hands.
We have a game ahead of us at Pollywood in front of our home fans and I’m sure we’ll secure a place in the quarter-finals.”were the words of the 24-year-old goalkeeper.
