Makis Gagatsis was in the locker room of the Greek national team after the victory over Finland, expressing his pleasure for the image of the blue and white team and the certainty that the representative group will be at the World Cup.
The Greek national team closed with 15 points, after five wins in six games, its presence in League B of the Nations League, defeating Finland in Helsinki with 2-0 for the 6th matchday.
After the end of the match, the president of EPO, Makis Gagatsis, was in the blue-and-white locker room where he expressed optimism that the representative team will be able to make it to the World Cup.

“You made all of Greece talk about the national team in the last quarter after a long time. With Ivan Jovanovic we made a new beginning.
We will see you again in March and I am sure we will go to the World Cup. The best is yet to come.
You deserved first place but even so we secured qualification to the second capacity group and I am sure that in 2026 we will be in America”.
