Harry Kane statue installed in London park, but first impressions were not what was expected

The board of Harry Kane’s birthplace had decided to honor the Bayern Munich footballer for his contribution to the sport and built a life-size statue of the England forward five years ago.

Until recently, no suitable place had been found to place it, however, after a long wait, it was unveiled in a local park in London.

Of course, reactions from fans around the world about how much the statue resembles Kane have flooded social media.

It is worth noting that there has been strong criticism for the cost of its construction, since 8.5 thousand euros were given for the statue.

The international striker, for his part, spoke about the honor he received after the revelations.

“A truly proud moment for me to return to where my football career began and to be at the unveiling of my statue. I hope it will help inspire the new generation to work hard and believe in themselves.”
