Australia’s NBL clash between Melbourne United and the Adelaide 36ers in the early hours of Sunday (11/17) was eventful, with former NBAer Montrezl Harrell starring in the on- and off-court tensions.

It all started in the fourth period of the match, when the referees charged the American with an offensive foul on Rob Lee. Harrell pushed Lee while he was on the ground and the two athletes then “caught” hands and were ejected.

However, the tension did not end there. A fan sitting in the court seats engaged in a dialogue with Kendrick Davis of the 36ers and then pushed him. Harrell was on the scene and intervened, pushing the fan in turn. The team’s athletes stepped in to put an end to the episode, with the officials ejecting a portion of the crowd from the court seats.
