‘Given my relationship with Real I do not rule out a new collaboration in the future from another position’

Toni Kroos’ very strong ties to Real Madrid cannot be hidden. In fact, in an interview, the veteran German explained that the fact that he “hung up” his football boots does not necessarily mean that he will not work with the “queen” again.

Kroos clarified that in the medium term there is no such prospect, however he left the window open for the future.

Kroos’ statements in detail:

“Given my relationship with Real I do not rule out a new collaboration in the future. The meaning of Real Madrid will always be the same for me. It was a very long, long, successful and loving partnership with Real. It will always be like that, I will always be close to the team, that’s without a doubt. Defend Real and be by their side, always.”

On the matter of an early return to Madrid, Kroos said: “To appear now in the environment of the club? The first thing I would say is no, as close as I feel. But I’m not saying I’m not going to come back or have something to do with Real Madrid all my life, of course I won’t I ruled it out”the German explained.

“I don’t know in what role, or whether the club could imagine it or not, but I wouldn’t rule out seeing myself again in some way at Real Madrid at some point.”
