Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami will change their coach, after Tata Martino decided to leave their bench, for personal reasons, even though he had a contract for another year.
Martino led the company of Messi, Suarez, Busquets and Alba to a record harvest in the MLS regular season this year, with Inter Miami accumulating 74 points. However, this was followed by the shocking elimination in the first round of the playoffs by Atlanta United, former team of the Argentine coach.
The experienced coach has been on the Inter bench since the summer of 2023, when Messi also came and together they won the Leagues Cup in 2023 and the Supporters’ Shield in 2024.
