A loyal Manchester City fan traveled miles, following the team in their final games, yet they experienced four consecutive defeats for the first time with Pep Guardiola on the bench.
Manchester City is going through a big competitive crisis, after the defeat by Brighton the “citizens” recorded a historic negative performance.
Pep Guardiola was defeated for the first time in his career in four consecutive games. The last time something similar happened in the blue club of Manchester was in 2006, with Giorgos Samaras participating in all four matches.
This might have been the worst time for someone to decide to make a huge trip to watch their team play in person, but that’s exactly what happened.
One loyal fan traveled over 5,000 kilometers (60 hours’ drive) to watch the matches against Tottenham, Bournemouth, Sporting and Brighton, but felt first-hand the regret of the unexpected negative results.
Despite this, he showed his deep love for the club, stating that he had no regrets about the trip and that – despite the defeats – he would do it again if he could go back in time.
