New prosecutions were brought as part of the investigation into the Lyggeridis case, which are directed against five people, including the president of Olympiakos, Vangelis Marinakis.

According to information, the criminal prosecution is personal, and specifically directed against the owner of PAE, B. Marinakis, the vice-presidents of PAE, Konstantinos Karapapas, Dimitris Agrafiotis and Michalis Kountouris, as well as against the mayor of Piraeus, Yiannis Moralis.

The offenses that have been attributed to them are misdemeanors and in particular they are, on occasion, those of supporting a criminal organization and inciting sports violence.

This development – according to the same sources – came after a request for additional prosecution, from the investigator handling the case file on the existence of a criminal organization, which allegedly committed, among other things, the murder of police officer G. Lyggeridis in Rentis.

The five men seem to have already received summonses to testify before the investigator, for next Tuesday (26/11). However, it is possible that they will request and receive a new deadline.
