Roma have announced the return of Claudio Ranieri to their bench, who took over until the end of the season, after which he will take up a position in the team.
Claudio Ranieri is officially the new coach of Roma, taking over the technical leadership of the team until the end of the season.
In the summer he will continue to be at the club in an advisory role to management on football matters relating to the club, such as the next manager of the team.
This is Ranieri’s third stint on the Roma bench after the previous two years 2009-2011 but also a brief stint off the bench in the spring of 2019 where he succeeded Eusebio Di Francesco to simply finish the 2018-19 season.
