Big win in Belgrade for Armani Milano, who beat Partizan 88-81 to drop to 2-8 and bottom of the EuroLeague standings.

On Friday night (15/11), two wounded teams stepped onto the floor of the Beogradska Arena, aiming for a balmy victory in the 10th matchday of the EuroLeague.

Partizan and Armani Milano fought a great battle in Belgrade, with the Italians “surviving” (88-81) thanks to Nikola Mirotic and his crucial baskets in an atmosphere that disapproved of him for more than two hours.

Ettore Messina’s team (3-2 home and 1-4 away) went up to 4-6, without Savon Shields and Josh Niebo, but looked after the ball, circulated it and distributed it well for the result.

Partizan fell to 2-8 (1-4 at home and 1-4 away), which had Lundberg, Karlik and Tyreek Jones on a bad night. Sterling Brown and Brandon Davis were the only standouts. In the final Fabian Coser wrote 79-84 with shots at 30″ and Jacques LeDay locked the result with two more for 81-86.

10-7 points on surprise, 17-13 points from opponent mistakes, 13-3 points from second chances (offensive rebounds) for both teams.
