Amorim set foot on the Island, ready to roll up his sleeves

A journey has ended for Ruben Amorim and his immediate associates and a new one begins in England and Manchester.

The Portuguese coach and his five associates (Fernandez, Adelio, Ferom Vital and Barreira) set foot in England and are preparing to roll up their sleeves to carry out the mission assigned to them, to return Manchester United to the English elite and European football.

A few hours later, Amorim and his team arrived at Carrington, with the club’s top brass welcoming them.

So far, it is still unclear what Ruud van Nistelrooy’s future will be at the club. The team’s Dutch legend is keen to stay on as assistant coach, however the management have so far not made their decision known.
