Dimitris Itoudis spoke about his and Hapoel Tel Aviv’s ambitions.
Dimitris Itoudis expressed the ambition to lead Hapoel Tel Aviv to the EuroLeague and make it one of the leading forces in Europe, in his first statements as the team’s coach.
What he said in detail: “The vision and plans presented to me by Ofer Yanai were the main reasons for my decision to come to Hapoel Tel Aviv.
A club with an ambition to reach the top, which fits my philosophy and career. Building something big is more difficult, but at the same time very rewarding and intriguing.
Although I could have waited for an offer from a top EuroLeague team, I have chosen, together with the team owners, management, players and our fans, to turn Hapoel Tel Aviv into a top EuroLeague team.”
