The 19th race day of Formula 1 2024 continues tonight with the fourth Sprint race of the year and then the main GP qualifying tests in Austin, Texas. Where can you see Saturday night’s racing action, and what times.

F1 has entered the final stretch of this year’s championship. This three-day (18-20/10) takes place at the “Circuit of the Americas” in Texas, USA, the first of the 6 races that will bring us to the finale in Abu Dhabi in December.

This is the fourth three-day race this year to feature a Sprint race, and given Max Verstappen’s battle with Lando Norris for this year’s Drivers’ Championship, as well as McLaren’s battle with Red Bull Racing for the Constructors’ title, the Sprint points are extremely crucial .

Max Verstappen took tonight’s pole position in yesterday’s Sprint Qualifying, but by just 12 milliseconds to Mercedes’ George Russell. With Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and Lando Norris (McLaren) on the second row of the start, tonight’s Sprint race, which will start at 21:00 Greek time (ANT1+, LIVE SPORT24) exciting expected. It will have a duration of 19 rounds, or a time limit of 60 minutes.

Approximately three hours after the end of the Sprint race, the drivers will return to their cars to take part in the classic qualifying tests that will determine the starting order of tomorrow’s main US GP. The midnight qualifying tests will start at 01:00 in the morning from Saturday to Sunday, and will be broadcast by ANT1+ (LIVE SPORT24).

Classically, ranking tests consist of three periods (Q1-Q2-Q3) lasting 18-15-12 minutes respectively. In the first two, the five slowest drivers will be eliminated respectively, so that in Q3 the final ten will emerge for the battle for pole position.
