This is the reason why fans of the away teams are not allowed to attend Panionio matches in the Stoiximan GBL.
Without the presence of visiting fans, all this year’s home games of Panioni will be played at Stoiximan GBL. Both the Municipality of Glyfada and the local police had set this as a necessary condition to grant the Historian the closed “Makis Liugas” for his obligations this year.
In fact, Panionios had informed ESAKE about this in a letter he sent to him on October 5. A letter that the organizing authority of the championship forwarded to the rest of the Stoiximan GBL KAE today (14/11), to avoid any misunderstandings.
What the letter says in detail:
“Dear President of ESAKE and Dear Members, to avoid misunderstandings and misinterpretations, KAE Panionios would like to inform, in time, all members for the following:
It is our commitment and an inviolable condition to the Municipality of Glyfada and the Police, in order to grant us the stadium, that there will be no movement of fans of the visiting team in any match of our team, organized or not. Therefore, in advance, we inform you that the non-availability of tickets to the visiting team, beyond the prescribed mandatory ones, it will apply to all our matches without any exception whatsoever.
After all, as is well known, the stadium does not offer the appropriate infrastructure, entrances and gates for the safe separation of fans, therefore any gathering of fans of the visiting team, among our own fans, would be a potential risk of creating quarrels and incidents”.
