Djibril Cisse was given an eight-month suspended prison sentence and a €20,000 fine for misappropriating company assets and failing to keep accounting records. He was acquitted of money laundering and tax fraud.
Djibril Cisse was found guilty for misuse of corporate assets and omission of accounting entries and was sentenced on Wednesday (13/11) to eight months in prison, with suspension and a fine of 20,000 euros.
The Criminal Court of Bastia also imposed an additional sentence of deprivation of his right to vote for the next three years.
At the same time, however, the 43-year-old former Panathinaikos player was acquitted of the charges of tax fraud and money laundering.
