EUROLEAGUE
Every day is a small step towards a comeback for Keenan Evans.
The image of Keenan Evans in Olympiakos training on Wednesday morning (20/11) was a very pleasant image for the friends of the red and whites, but also for the people of the team who see that the American is “rising” and is now counting down for the his return to action.
The 28-year-old guard is coming off serious injuries to his Achilles tendon and kneecap, with Piraeus not having the slightest need to push him. He has been given as much time as he needs to recover, with Evans aware that the team’s perimeter line is full and he too is patiently going towards a comeback.
At the moment Evans is not participating in the regular schedule, however the intensity of his training is increasing day by day. Last year he averaged 17.3 points (53% on 2-pointers, 44% on 3-pointers, 90% on field goals), 2.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.2 steals and 18.3 points per 27:23 in 34 EuroLeague games.
