The Sixers continue to disappoint, coming off a 117-111 loss at Memphis, dropping their record to 2-12. That’s the least of their problems at the moment, however, as they sit on hot coals due to another injury to Paul George, who overextended his left knee and left the pitch at the start of the second half.
Jaren Jackson’s 25 points led the way for the winners, with Desmond Bain adding 21 points and Jalen Wells 14 points.
For the Sixers, Joel Embiid had 35 points and 11 rebounds – his best performance since returning to action this season – with Jared McCain adding 20 points, Tyrese Maxey on 3/13 shooting and George to 2 points.
