LaMelo Ball has been fined $100,000 by the NBA – the maximum monetary penalty – for a derogatory and offensive comment he made immediately after the Hornets’ win over the Bucks.
Speaking to the television network that broadcast the game, the 23-year-old guard said about the last play of the match: “I’m g..me. I’m not gay,” with the League punishing him severely, deeming it offensive in tone.
