Three local men were arrested on Saturday afternoon in Patras and on the National Road of Athens-Patras, by police officers of the Sub-Directorate of Security and the OPKE of Patras, against whom and one more accused who is wanted. , the violation of the laws on sports, on weapons, on sparklers, fireworks and flares, violence against officials and judicial persons, disturbance of public peace and disobedience, as ELAS states in its announcement.
In particular, according to the headquarters of the Hellenic Police, the day before yesterday 16-11-2024, at noon, on the National Road of Athens Patras, the police officers of the OPKE of the Security Sub-Directorate of Patras, during checks they carried out in the context of the movement of fans for the match Prometheus – AEK for the GBL, they found two of those arrested moving in cars and owning two iron fists and a knife.
On the same day, ELAS reports, at the basketball court in Patras, approximately -400- fans of the team during a match and inside the court shouted abusive and threatening slogans and lit three smoke bombs in the stands of the court, as a result of which their removal was requested from the venue of the match.
As reported by News247.grthe individuals did not comply with the order to vacate the stadium and at the instigation of the wanted accused, attacked and violently pushed the police officers, resulting in injuries to two police officers.
The arrested were taken to the Prosecutor of First Instance of Achaia, to whom the case file for the wanted accused was also submitted.
