‘We played smart in the last minutes, I don’t care about the rotation, but about our image’

Ergin Ataman gave his first thoughts in the flash interview immediately after the match between Virtus Bologna and Panathinaikos AKTOR and the double of the greens in Italy for the 10th matchday of the EuroLeague.

The Turkish coach referred to the importance of his team’s victory, the progress of the match, but also his way of thinking regarding the rotation.

In the end we got the rebounds and the win. “We played a lot smarter in the last few minutes and got an important win. Maybe this game wasn’t amazing for us, but both teams were fighting.”

For the rotation in the match against Virtus: “I don’t care about the rotation. I care about the players who are in that moment in the best condition. The important thing is how we play in the match. I will not make changes for the rotation if I put a player and he does not give us what we want we need, I will take him out. Sometimes we can play with six players, sometimes with ten. We finished the double week with two victories, very difficult, but also very important.”
