FORMULA STUDENT
Twelve polytechnic schools from all over Greece attended the 3rd Formula Student Festival, at the old Glyfada Town Hall, impressing with the technological achievements and innovations incorporated in their cars participating in the international Formula Student competition.
For the 3rd consecutive year, the first and largest car magazine in the world, Car and Driver, whose Greek edition is celebrating its 35th anniversary, co-organized the two-day Formula Student Festival with the participation of all the Polytechnic schools of our country.
The organization had the support and cooperation of the Municipality of Glyfada and the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security as well as the Scientific Association of Wind Energy (ELETAEN).
The teams presented their tricks to the general public and had the opportunity to discuss with each other, with eminent scientists but also with people from the automotive industry and members of the country’s political scene, showing the way to the future.
The demonstrations of the single-seaters aroused and caused admiration in the crowd who applauded their effort, while the speakers developed their positions and answered all the questions in the two-day event “Energy, Technology, Development: The Polytechnic schools and the challenges in the new era for the Automotive » held as part of the 3rd Formula Student Festival.
In this effort, Stelios Vafeidis, Sungrow, Kawacom, Pretzel Hellas, Anek lines, CHITOS SA, Pizza Fun, Heineken, Kava Vytiniotis helped and they all renewed the appointment for next year.
