Ohio State football defeated the Texas Longhorns in the Cotton Bowl and faces the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the College Football Playoff national championship game. The Buckeyes look like they are on a warpath after producing another double-digit win margin. Everything is seemingly lining up in the favor of OSU.

Now the question is what will Ohio State be wearing. Rumor has it the Buckeyes will be repping the road version of the “Heritage Stripes,” while Notre Dame will wear its standard blue jersey. The “Heritage Stripes” are beloved by OSU fans and some of the most iconic moments in the school’s history occurred while donning this classic fit.

The university has yet to confirm this rumor, but the possibility is floating around on social media and it feels like Ohio State has to wear them. In fact, Andrew Lind has the scoop.
