The Los Angeles Rams are making calls ahead of the NFL’s Nov. 4 trade deadline.
After acquiring cornerback Roger McCreary earlier this week, L.A. is also among the teams inquiring about a few Cincinnati Bengals stars. According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the Rams have called the Bengals about linebacker Logan Wilson, cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt and edge rusher Trey Hendrickson. The other teams interested are, reportedly, the 49ers, Lions, Colts and Eagles (although the Eagles just traded for Ravens cornerbakc Jaire Alexander).
It’s unclear which of the three the Rams are interested in, but Hendrickson or Wilson would be the best guess. Hendrickson has just four sacks this season, but tallied 34.5 over the past two seasons. He would be incredibly expensive — it would likely take at least one of the Rams’ first-rounders to acquire him — and the Rams would need to sign him to a new contract after this season unless he was a one-year rental.
Wilson has recorded at least 100 tackles over the past four seasons and already has 46 this season. He would likely play alongside Nate Landman in the middle of the defense. Wilson has two more years left on his deal after this season. It’s hard to say what his trade value is, but the Rams likely won’t give up more than a mid-round pick for an off-ball linebacker.
Taylor-Britt would be another great addition to the cornerback room, but a bit of an overcorrection considering the recent trade for McCreary. Taylor-Britt tallied seven interceptions over the past two years but none in 2025.
The Rams clearly are interested in making additions as they prepare to make a postseason run. This is giving similar vibes to the 2021 season when the team added Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller before making their Super Bowl run.
And with Matthew Stafford playing at an elite level and a defense preventing points, why not go for it?
