  • The Dallas Cowboys are preparing to face the Denver Broncos with a 3-3-1 record.
  • Linebacker Demarion Overshown is expected to have his 21-day practice window activated as he recovers from injury.
  • Cornerback Trevon Diggs is in concussion protocol after an unexplained incident at his home.

The Dallas Cowboys are riding a one-game winning streak and are now looking to take down the Denver Broncos.

That would improve their 3-3-1 record, which is fairly unique in NFL history.

Alas, they are injured, but here is how it’s going.

Demarion Overshown

The third-year linebacker out of Texas has looked good when he’s been healthy, which hasn’t happened often. After missing his rookie year due to an injury, he played 14 productive games last year before tearing his ACL, MCL, and PCL.

Now he’s beginning his road back. Overshown is expected to have his 21-day practice window activated on Wednesday. He posted “T-21” on X on Monday, referring to that practice window, though the Cowboys will not officially activate him for practice until Wednesday.

He’s still a ways from playing, and what this means is that on Nov. 12, the Cowboys can make the decision on whether to activate him for the final month and a half of the season.

“He is so fired up,” said Cowboys director of player personnel Stephen Jones on a radio show. “He’ll start to work back in. … He’s been itching at the bit to get back, but we wanted to make sure that after coming back from two injuries, unfortunately, that he was 100 percent and ready to go. He’s gonna have to have that ramp up period where he’s gotta get in football shape.”

Dallas is also planning to activate receiver Jonathan Mingo from the injured reserve this week.

Yes, there are a lot of them! Here they are!

Jayden Daniels news

The Washington Commanders quarterback was knocked out of the game against Dallas on a sack by Shemar James. The injury has been diagnosed as a hamstring and an MRI came back negative.

Coach Dan Quinn said the injury is not long-term, but it will be Thursday at the earliest before there’s an update on his status for the Monday Night Football game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Who do the Dallas Cowboys play next?

The Dallas Cowboys travel to Denver to take on the Broncos Sunday afternoon. The 2:25 p.m. MT/3:25 p.m. CT game will be televised on CBS as their game of the week.

Brandon Aubrey great

The Dallas Cowboys kicker is 5-7 on field goals of 60 yards or more. He has made more 60-yard field goals than any kicker in history. So he is No. 1.

There are two ways to go here: a Halloween costume or options for a little girl.

Dallas Cowboys injury report

Dallas is as healthy as they’ve been. CeeDee Lamb is a full go while Marshawn Kneeland’s status is undefined, but not bad. Linemen Tyler Smith, Tyler Keegan and Tyler Booker seem all right.

Trevon Diggs

The Dallas Cowboys cornerback got his head banged at his house a few days ago and is now in concussion protocol. There is no real explanation as to how this happened.
